Our valuations are carefully assessed

Our valuation services are suitable for any situation in which a "Red Book" valuation is needed for ordinary private residential purposes.  The term "Red Book" refers to the official RICS and International Valuation Standards that cover a wide variety of valuation requirements. There are various types of valuation for specified purposes, we only provide a "market valuation" within the private residential sector for the following purposes -


  • Pre-purchase valuation (such as is standard in the RICS HomeBuyer Report
  • Settlements of equity loans for a number of home purchase incentive schemes such as -
    • Help to Buy
    • Shared Ownership
    • Shared Equity
    • Key Worker
  • Estate valuation for a will or for probate
  • Matrimonial and similar settlements
  • Inheritance Tax assessment
  • Capital Gains Tax assessment


Important Note:  We are registered as an RICS Regulated Firm and we are an RICS Registered Valuer.  It is contrary to RICS Rules for any chartered surveyor who is not also an RICS Registered Valuer to provide valuations of any type covered by the Red Book.
